I am new to the Siouxland having relocated here from northern Michigan. I am looking for others Beagle or Basset Hound owners who would be interested in starting a training group for rabbit hounds. Perhaps even establish a field trail club if we have enough folks involved. I run rabbits with a smallish field-bred Basset Hound; hunting & field trialing. Do you love animals enough to help injured and orphaned wildlife? Visit arcwildlife.org to learn more about our organization. We won't be offering any courses until fall, but it's never too soon to sign up. The course requires 2 weekends of training, at which time you'll receive a wildlife permit and an extensive manual on wildlife care, along with new "buddies" to help you with animal care questions.
