Cherry Park is a large shared park located in SE Portland, near 106th and Stephens. The park is one of the more secluded of the shared parks, and offers a nice size off-leash area in the middle of the long and slender park. The park is mostly flat with many trees scattered throughout the area. A nice feature about this off-leash area is its seclusion from nearby roads. It is bordered on two sides by fence, and it is a good distance from any roads. There are no poop bags, running water, or garbage cans on site, so come prepared.

ASH STREET PARK

Ash Street Dog Park is a modest sized dog park that is part of a series of exemplary dog parks established and maintained by the Tigard Dog Park Committee. Despite its small size, it is well-maintained, with poop bags, garbage cans, one sheltered picnic table and a large Chestnut Tree for shade. It's completely fenced and still big enough for a good session of frisbee. There is no running water so bring your own.

Hockinson has a beautiful 240-acre site, located west of NE 172nd Ave and south of NE 119th St. In developing this into a large multi-use community park, significant consideration is being given to wetlands and sports fields. Approximately 5 fenced in acres (NW or NE corner) is proposed for off-leash use.

The park is now an active construction site and has been closed to public access to prevent potential injuries and accidents. The only exception is the temporary 4-acre off-leash dog park in the extreme southwest corner of the park at NE 164th Avenue and 15th Street, and the Extreme Sports Park on NE 164th Avenue.

This nearly 9 acre fenced dog park was a joint project between BPA (which donated land), the city of Vancouver. It is Vancouver's first off-leash dog park. To get to the park, exit I-5 at Highway 99 and head north. Turn right onto NE Ross St to NE 18th St and the park.

This dog park opened in Oct, 2006 in the new Otay Ranch Town Center which is also pet-friendly. The fenced, 10,000 square foot dog park is located next to the Macy's at the outdoor mall. To get to the mall and dog park from San Diego go south on the 805 Freeway to the Orange Avenue Exit. Head east on Orange Avenue which will become Olympic Parkway. Go 4 miles east to the mall.

The dog park is located in Zilker Metropolitan Park at 2100 Barton Springs Road. The leash free area is located near the soccer field area, between Great Northern Blvd. and Shoal Creek Blvd.
